Itinerary for Annapurna Base Camp

Day 1 : Arrival , Overnight in Hotel (Kathmandu)
Day 2 : Drive to Pokhara by tourist bus , Overnight in Hotel Lake Side
Day 3  : Drive to Nayapul (1,050m/1 & ½ hr) & Trek to Ghandruk (1,940m/5hrs)
Day 4  : Ghandruk – Chhomrong (2,170m/5hrs)
Day 5  : Chhomrong – Himalayan Hotel (2,920m/7hrs)
Day 6 : Himalaya – Machhapuchchhre Base Camp (3,720m/4hrs)
Day 7 : Machhapuchchhre Base Camp – Annapurna Base Camp (4,230m/3hrs) & descent to Sinuwa   (2,340m/4hrs)
Day 8 : Descend from Sinuwa to Tolka (1,700m/5hrs)
Day 9 : Descend from Tolka to Phedi (1,130m/5hrs) and drive back to Pokhara, Overnight in Hotel Lake Side
Day10: Back to Kathmandu, overnight in Hotel Karma
Day11: International departure

Commence Trek
Day 1:  Arrival and transfer to the hotel and overnight Stay
Day 2: Drive to Pokhara: 6 hours long drive passing through Trisuli river basin and viewing hill land scape L

Day 3: Drive to Nayapul (1,050m/1 & ½ hr) & Trek to Ghandruk (1,940m/5hrs). Overnight in Trekking lodges LD
This morning, you will be driven aone & half hours to Nayaoul which is the trek starting point & Nayapul, we trek uphill on the trail to Ghandruk. While in the trail, we enjoy the panoramic views of the mountains. We further pass along various small villages such as Chimrong, Syauli Bazar, and Chane. Upon crossing the suspension bridge over Khumnu Khola, we will be at Ghandruk, a slope settlement with stone houses mostly inhabited by the Gurung community. Along with enjoying the stunningly close-up towering views of Fishtail, Annaurna South, and Hiuchuli mountains, we also acquaint ourselves with the simple but rich cultural traditions of the Gurung culture and community at the Gurung Museum in Ghandruk.

Day 4: Ghandruk – Chhomrong (2,170m/5hrs). Overnight in Trekking lodges BLD
At this juncture, we climb up for an hour up to Ghandrukkot and then a steep descent takes us to the Kimron Khola. After another steep ascent from Kimron Khola, we make an hour of easy walk. Then, we take a steep climb continuing up to Chhomrong. While climbing, we encounter with the mighty peak of Annapurna South above the village and the view of Fishtail Mountain (Machhapuchhare) facing across the valley. Chho mrong is a beautiful village located on the lap of giant Annapurna massive.

Day 5: Chhomrong – Himalayan Hotel (2,920m/7hrs). Overnight in Trekking lodges BLD
We walk through the pretty forest to Kuldi Ghar, before the route goes steeply down a bank of rock and then levels out, running through riverside bamboo thickets along the base of the gorge. Then the track winds steeply up through deep bamboo and rhododendron forest to the village of Doban.

Day 6: Himalaya – Machhapuchchhre Base camp (3,720m/4hrs). Overnight in Trekking lodges BLD
The track remains on the West Bank of the Modi, now flowing through a more open valley, and eventually emerges into the Sanctuary. Straight-ahead is the high lateral moraine of the South Annapurna glacier and the Modi follows a deep cliff to the right. This is the site of Machhapuchhre base camp from which can be seen a spectacular panorama of mountains. We will either stay here or continue northwest, staying above the glacial moraine.
Day 7: Machhapuchchhre Base Camp – Annapurna Base Camp (4,230m/3hrs) and descend back to Sinuwa (2,340m/4hrs). Overnight in Trekking lodges BLD

On the way to Annapurna Base Camp from Machhapuchchhre Base Camp, the vegetation disappears. We will see the snow boulders melting and forming small streams. The path widens as we en ter the sanctuary. We follow a stream and then climbs to a few huts alongside a moraine. There are sensational views of the near-vertical south face of Annapurna towering above the sanctuary. Annapurna Base Camp sanctuary boasts of a dynamic view without anything impeding panorama of the 360 degrees. Upon arrival at this panoramic view site, we savor the mesmerizing views of the Machhapuchchhre, Annapurna south, Annapurna I, Hiuchuli and other peaks. Climax of our trip almost ends today then you will trek back to Sinuwa which is most easy descending route.
Highest Altitude Reached – Trek Proceeds to Lower Altitudes
Day 8: Descend Sinuwa to Tolka (1,700m/5hrs). Overnight in Trekking lodges BLD

From Sinuwa we cross to the eastern side of the Modi Khola Valley continue south along the valley wall to the village of Tolka. Make sure you take a break now and again and look over your shoulder towards the north – this trail delivers some spectacular views of the Annapurna South summit and the many neighbouring snow-capped peaks. When you reach Tolka your group will no doubt relax outside your trekking lodge to take in the spectacle of the beautiful mountains you trekked just a few days earlier.

Day 9: Descend Tolka to Phedi (1,130m/5hrs) and drive back to Pokhara. Overnight in Hotel BL
In the morning after breakfast, we will leave Tolka and walk down the crest of the main ridge heading south. We will pass through beautiful forests and carefully tended terraced farmlands as we briefly visit the villages of Pitam Deurali, Potana and skirt the wonderful little village of Dhampus. These final ridges near Dhampus deliver the final spectacular Annapurna nountain views of the trek. We then descend steeply to the valley floor and the village of Phedi where our transport will awai us for the very short journey back to Pokhara.

Day 10: Drive to Kathmandu and overnight stay B
Day 11: Moring Souvenir hunting and drop to the International Airport B
